Product Introduction

The Small CO₂ Incubator is a precision environmental control device designed for small-scale cell culture experiments, providing stable temperature, humidity, and CO₂ gas concentration within a confined space. The entire unit employs an air-jacketed thermostat structure, utilizing multi-point thermal compensation technology to ensure a uniform and stable temperature field within the chamber, suitable for long-term culture of environmentally sensitive cell lines.

1. Temperature Control System
The Small CO₂ Incubator is equipped with a high-sensitivity PT100 platinum resistance temperature sensor, achieving micro-level temperature difference control through dual-loop PID calculations. The system supports a setpoint range from 5°C above room temperature to 60°C, typically achieving ±0.3°C temperature fluctuation control and maintaining a temperature uniformity of approximately ±0.5°C within the chamber.

To reduce temperature recovery time, the device employs an internal airflow structure. When the chamber door is briefly opened, the temperature can quickly return to the set point, minimizing the impact of external environmental interference on cell growth.

2. CO₂ Regulation System

This device uses an infrared (IR) CO₂ sensor as its core detection unit and is equipped with a calibration certificate to ensure detection accuracy during long-term operation. The CO₂ concentration can be adjusted within the range of 0–20%, with a control resolution of 0.1% and a concentration uniformity of approximately 0.2%.

The gas path system features an independent CO₂ filter component, effectively blocking impurity particles. A micro-gas pulse compensation method is used during adjustment, resulting in faster gas recovery and less fluctuation, making it particularly suitable for long-term culture experiments requiring stable CO₂ concentrations.

3. Chamber Structure & Materials

The chamber is constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, with rounded corners to effectively reduce bacterial and impurity adhesion. The streamlined design of the outer shell allows the device to be stably placed on ordinary laboratory benchtops, enabling flexible deployment even in space-constrained laboratories.

The chamber volume is available in various sizes from 50 to 160 cubic meters depending on the model, with adjustable internal shelves suitable for culture flasks, culture plates, and various experimental carriers.

4. Sterilization & Contamination Control
The equipment employs a 90°C moist heat sterilization mode, covering all areas of the chamber during the sterilization cycle for highly efficient internal disinfection.

In addition, users can select the following optional configurations according to their experimental needs:
HEPA intake filtration: reduces the introduction of airborne particles into the culture environment
UV disinfection system: suitable for experiments sensitive to microbial contamination
Humidity control component: enhances the stability of cells' requirements for environmental humidity
Multiple protective structures improve the cleanliness of the culture environment and reduce experimental failure rates.

5. Control Interface & Data Management
The Small CO₂ Incubator is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen display, allowing for setting and real-time monitoring of parameters such as temperature, time, and CO₂ concentration. The interface supports data export, allowing users to export operation records, alarm information, and operation logs via USB for experimental documentation, facilitating researchers' tracking of the culture process and verification of experimental conditions.

6. Power & Energy Characteristics: The overall power consumption varies depending on the model, with typical operating power ranging from approximately 300–700W. The device supports 220V AC power and can be optionally equipped with an external transformer suitable for 110V systems to meet the installation requirements of laboratories in different countries and regions.

7. Typical Applications: The Small CO₂ Incubator is suitable for:
Cell line expansion and maintenance culture
Stem cell and biotechnology experiments
Microbial CO₂ conditioned culture
Early cell response studies in drug development
Routine culture processes in conventional biological laboratories. Its compact design, precise control, and long-term stability make it an efficient culture solution for research institutions, biotechnology companies, and medical laboratories.
