Gas Cylinder Cabinet

The gas cylinder cabinet is a metal container used to improve local exhaust ventilation, protect steel cylinders (gas cylinders) from fire outside the cabinet and protect surrounding objects from internal fire.

Flammable storage cabinets feature reinforced 18-gauge steel, with double-wall internal and external welded construction and a 1-1/2 inch air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. Four adjustable galvanized leveling legs and a ground connection keep the cabinet stable.

The patented safety shelving includes adjustable galvanized steel shelves that direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump. Each shelf holds up to 350 lbs. UDL and has 3-inch centers for shelf brackets.

The fire-resistant cabinet has a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish with trilingual warning labels. It also features a 2-inch raised leakproof door sill, two 2-inch internal vents with fire baffles and caps, and fail-safe doors.

The cabinet is available with either manual-close doors (180° opening) or self-closing doors (135° opening) that self-latch. It also includes a three-point stainless steel bullet-latching system, piano hinges, and a flush-mounted door handle with a key lock.
